BUSCHER, Harry Richard. Passed away October 18, 2012 in Franklin, Tennessee. Mr. Buscher is survived by Gloria Haranczak Buscher, his wife of over 60 years; nine children and their respective spouses (with children listed first) - David and Patricia Buscher of Warren, MI; Kathleen and Michael Hayes of Chicago, IL; Michael and Sandra Buscher of Canton, MS; Frank and Elizabeth Buscher of Novi, MI; Paul and Marsha Buscher of Franklin, TN; Mary Lee and Randall Bates of Franklin, TN; Christine and Todd Lunsford of Franklin, TN; Harry Jr. and Kimberly Buscher of Brentwood, TN; and Alison and Price Hartman of Murfreesboro, TN; and twenty grandchildren. Mr. Buscher had been a devoted member of St. Philip Catholic Church in Franklin since 1982. He served his country in the Pacific theatre during World War II as a member of the U.S. Army. During his 40+ year professional career in the automotive industry, he rose from humble beginnings to positions of extensive management responsibility, including a leadership role in the launch of Nissan's successful manufacturing plant in Smyrna, TN. Harry was a loving husband and father, and a wonderful role model, but for all his strength of character, he was equally cherished for his ready smile, his easy-going enthusiasm and a well-developed sweet tooth. The family will receive friends Friday from 3-8 p.m. at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, 3009 Columbia Ave., Franklin, TN, 37064. Father Tran will conduct a funeral Mass at 9 a.m. on Saturday, October 20th at St. Philip Church. Interment will include a military service and be held at Williamson Memorial Gardens after the Mass.
