FORD, Mr. Hillman Sylvester, age 96 of Franklin, TN, December 12, 2013. He was a beloved father, husband, grandparent, friend and neighbor. Retired security officer for the U.S. Foreign Service. Veteran of the US Army serving during WWII. Preceded in death by parents, Robert James & Lucille Messer Ford; wife of 75 years, Catherine Julia Ford; two infant sons; brothers, Edsel & Lawrence Ford. Survived by daughter, Sheila Ford (Daniel) Kane; three grandchildren; five step grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Friday, December 20, 2013 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1100 Gray Fox Ln. Franklin, TN 37069, Bishop Loope officiating. Burial will be 1:30PM Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Highland Cemetery in Hattiesburg, MS. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Visitation will be 5-8PM Thursday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service Saturday at the church.
