Mr. Hollis Ashworth

ASHWORTH, Mr. Hollis Ray, age 73 of Columbia, TN, passed away after a long battle with illnesses on January 20, 2013 with his loving wife by his side. Born in Hickman County to the late Lex and Ruth Riley. He moved to Williamson County where he as a farmer and a mechanic. In September, 1989 he married the love of his life, Mamie. Preceded in death by son, Kenny Ray Ashworth; sisters, Christine Bennett and Era May Underwood; brothers, Ernest Dee, Sr., Horace, Elmer and Walter Brown Ashworth. Survived by: wife, of 23 years, Mamie Spears Ashworth; son, Walter Dale (Tammy) Ashworth; daughter, Pamela Ann Henson; stepson, Ricky Ray Beard; step daughters, Patricia Beard and Sheila (Bobby) Emler; special niece, Crystal Ashworth and her two daughters, several other nieces and nephews; grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Danny Wise officiating. Interment Garrison Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Hollis Ashworth Memorial Fund.
