DAVIES, Mr. Hugh Alfred, age 69 of Brentwood, TN, February 26, 2010. Attended Oasis Worship Center, Nashville, TN; he worked as an electrical engineer in the Pathology Dept. at Vanderbilt Medical University for 31 years and also graduated with a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Vanderbilt University. Preceded in death by parents, Alfred & Helen Gallanger Davies. Survived by wife, Velma Garner Davies of Brentwood, TN; son, Alan David Davies of Sterling, VA; daughter, Lori (John) Davies LaVoy of Marietta, GA; grandchildren, Joshua & Jacob LaVoy; sister, Marcia Davies of Keedysville, MD. Memorial Services will be conducted 3:00PM Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Bobby Howard officiating. Memorials may be made to The Father's House P.O.
