GREEN Sr., Mr. Jack Ercel, age 80 of Franklin, TN, formally of Donelson, TN passed away April 13, 2010 after an extended illness. Preceded in death by parents, Alvin & Pauline Green of Nashville. Survived by daughters, Donna Green Pence (Charles) Wilson of San Diego, CA & Rebecca Green; son, Jack Ercel (Kathryn) Green, Jr.; sisters, Mary Leegan, Betty Myers & Helen Mingle; brothers, William "Bill" Green, Tommy (Nancy) Green & Paul Green; grandchildren, Michael B. Williams, Jessica Williams (Cory) Andersen, Alexis M. Pence, Marla Green (Kevin) Allen, Amber Lenea Green, Lauren L. Wilson, Krista K. Wilson (Chris) Martin, Christopher A. Sorensen, Selena A. Sorensen; seven great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces & nephews. Mr. Green served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was the founder and owner of Jack's Beauty Supplies in Donelson; and later retired from the state as an administrator at Clover Bottom Developmental Center. He was active in community affairs as a long time member and President of the Donelson Lions Club and a counsel member for the Middle Tennessee Boy Scouts of America. Additionally, he was a former assistant scout master for Troop 30. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00PM Friday, April 16, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment 9:00AM Monday, April 19, 2010 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association, 4205 Hillsboro Rd, Suite 200 Nashville, TN 37215.
