Mr. Jackie Burke, 82, of Greenfield, IN passed away June 14, 2014 in Indianapolis, IN. He was born in Nolensville, TN and was a Korean War Veteran of the US Army and was an Electrician for Conrail retiring in 1985.
He is survived by daughters, Marcia Jean Ferguson (Larry), Jacquelyne Jo Day, Sharon Aliene Stinnett, and Pamela Sue Hammond (Ronald), all of Indianapolis; his son, Jeffrey Lee Burke (Nancy) also of Indianapolis; brothers, Ralph, James, Gary and Elmer Jenkins all of TN; his sister, Mary Jo Butts of TN; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren also survive.
Visitation, Wednesday, 4-8PM at Flanner and Buchanan-Memorial Park in Indianapolis and 2-8PM Friday, June 20 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home in Franklin, TN. . Burial in Street Cemetery with military rites.
