HILLIARD, Mr. James Edward "Eddie" Sr. age 66 of Franklin, TN passed away September 9, 2010. Born in Williamson County to the late David Leroy & Jennie Mai Haynes Hilliard. Preceded in death by brother, Leroy Hilliard; sons, Stoney Hilliard & Charlie Poteete. Survived by wife, Rachel Poteete Hilliard of Franklin, TN; sons, James Hilliard, Jr. of Columbia, TN and Willie Poteete of Franklin, TN; daughter, Jennie Hilliard of Franklin, TN; sister, Haley Norman of Ashland City, TN; nine grandchildren; special pet, Dusty and several other loving family members. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00PM Friday, September 10, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ronnie Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Swanson Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be Tanner Poteete, C.J., Travis, Leroy & Jimmy Cooper and Scott Mealer. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Lillard, Gary Sanders, John Rolston, Tom Locke, Larry Burns, Larry Holt and special pet, Dusty. Memorials may be made to the Eddie Hilliard Memorial Fund.
