LADD, Mr. James Arthur, age 74 of Franklin, TN, July 29, 2010. Preceded in death by parents, Joseph & Sally Mangrum Ladd, sister, Delphina Ladd Carter. He worked at the Opryland Theme Park as the lead mechanic for more than 20 years. Deacon at the Millview Church of Christ. Survived by: wife of 55 years, Barbara Walker Ladd; son, Mike (Debbie) Ladd; sisters, Josephine Ladd, Katherine Ladd Hood & Rebecca Ladd Lee; grandchildren, Jessica Ladd (Troy) Proctor & Jonathan (Jennifer) Ladd; great grandchildren, Kaitlin Ladd, Austin Proctor & Ryan Ladd. Memorial services will be conducted 1:30 PM Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Millview Church of Christ, 4370 Murfreesboro Rd., Franklin, TN, Ed Slayton officiating. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 4205 Hillsboro Pike, Suite 216, Nashville, TN 37215.
