MAUPIN, Mr. James Clayton, age 89 of Franklin, TN, June 8, 2012. Longtime Employee of Gray Drug Company on Main St. in Franklin. WWII Veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in Hawaii. Preceded in death by parents, Wiley & Cleavy Plunkett Maupin and wife of 64 years, Sarah Elizabeth Schmidt Maupin. Survived by sons, Bob (Sue) Maupin, Bill Maupin and "adopted son", John Antwine; daughter, Mary (Joe) Estes; brother in-law, Robert Schmidt; sister, Aline Scott; grandchildren, Dana Pipkin, Joey, Josh & Jason Estes; step-grandchildren, Sharon Perry & Charles Hartley. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society c/o Beth Owens, 405 Founders Pointe Blvd. Franklin, TN 37064 or Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203.
