MURPHY, Jr. James Howard "Jimmy", age 79 of LaVergne, TN formerly of Nashville, TN, May 30, 2010. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Preceded in death by parents, James & Velma Trimble Murphy, Sr. Survived by wife of 35 years, Sherrie Murphy of LaVergne, TN; sons, Brandon Murphy of Gallatin, TN & Randall Smith of White House, TN; daughter, Christy Ridiner of Gordonsville, TN; brother, Robert (Susan) Murphy of CA; six grandchildren & one great grandchild. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00PM Thursday, June 3, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Donald Fowler officiating. Interment, Spring Hill Memorial Park. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the James Howard Murphy, Jr. memorial fund.
