SMITHSON, Mr. James Waldon age 95 of Franklin, TN, passed away May 25, 2012. Retired supervisor with Mid State Steel. Served as an elder for 33 years at Fourth Ave. Church of Christ. Preceded in death by wife of 71 years Ruby Allen Smithson; parents, Charlie Lee and Nola Caroline Beshears Smithson. Survived by sons, Kenneth (Joyce) Smithson of Arlington, TX and Don (Connie) Smithson; grandchildren, Ginger (Bill) Stallsworth, Bonnie (Mike) Mendez, Vickie (David) Dudley and Kyle Smithson; great grandchildren, Tabitha Stallsworth, Troy Stallsworth, Koby Dudley, Juliana Smith and Ethan Dudley; sisters, O'Fallon Rains and Elizabeth Tanksley and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service 10:30AM Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Don Smithson, Kenneth Smithson and Myron Keith officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Kyle Smithson, Mike Mendez, Bill Stallsworth, David Dudley, Ethan Dudley and Troy Stallsworth.
