JONES, Jeffery W., age 53 of Franklin, TN died August 19, 2012 after and extended illness from cancer. He was born November 24, 1958 in Memphis, TN. He attended the Department of Defense Central High School in London, England, the University of Tennessee in Knoxville and the University of Memphis. He served as an air traffic controller in the U.S. Air Force and worked 10 years for Scientific Atlanta installing earth satellite antennas around the world. For the past several years he owned Prime Focus Construction a home remodeling and construction business. He was an avid golfer and sports enthusiast. He was a loyal member of the Elks Lodge #72 and a long time member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife Pam Russell Jones, his father, Granville Jones, his uncles Richard (Bobbie) Jones, Eddie Jones, Harold (Kristen) Jones and David Jones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Maxine Jones. A Memorial Service will be held 4:00PM Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Franklin First United Methodist Church, 143 Fifth Ave. South, Franklin, TN 37064, Rev. Jerry Young officiating. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at www.woundedwarriorproject.org, Alive Hospice, 1718 Patterson St. Nashville, TN 37203 or Trinity United Methodist Church, 2084 Wilson Pike, Franklin, TN 37064. Visitation will be 5-8PM Wednesday with an Elks service at 7:00PM at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home and 2-4PM Thursday at the church.
