BANKS, Mr. Joe Glenn, age 83 of Franklin, TN, March 30, 2013. Devoted member of the Franklin First United Methodist Church. Retired accountant of Dean's Food Co. and Corporal of the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. Preceded in death by parents, Robert Elmer & Mollie S. Scobey Banks; brother, Thad Banks & sister, Robbie McQuistion. Survived by: loving wife who celebrated 62 years of marriage on St. Patrick's Day, Patricia Banks; sons, John (Donna) Banks & David Banks; daughter, Judy (Mark) Coursey; grandchildren, Mary & Matthew Banks, Christopher & Shelby Coursey. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00 AM Monday, April 1, 2013 at Franklin First United Methodist, Dr. Lynn Hill officiating. Interment conducted 3:00 PM Monday after the service in Franklin at Memphis Memorial Park in Memphis, TN. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to Franklin First United Methodist Building Fund.
