Mr. Joe Parham

PARHAM, Mr. Joe Watson, age 77 of the Leipers Fork ~ Hillsboro Community, October 20, 2011. Joe was an active member and treasurer of the Leiper's Fork Church of Christ and was involved in the Williamson County Jail Ministry for many years and other outreach ministries. He was a retired member of the Ford Glass Plant after 34 years of service. He was a proud, die-hard member of the Local 737 UAW, a graduate of the class of 1952 from Hillsboro High School, served his country 1957-1959 in the U S Army and was an avid fisherman and a friend to every one. Preceded in death by parents, John Bunyan and Bonnie Blankenship Parham and brother-in-law George Bullock. Survived by loving wife of 56 years Jane McKee Parham, devoted children Janet (Dennis) Tatum of Leiper's Fork and John (Sheila) Parham of Knoxville TN, Treasured Grandsons Steven Tatum of Leiper's Fork and Jacob Parham of Knoxville, TN. Devoted sisters, Virginia (Porter) McKay of Stone Mountain, GA, Nancy Bullock of Old Hickory TN, Elaine (Richard) Thompson of Villa Park IL, Amelia (Joey) Krupski of Pacific Grove, CA and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Funeral services will be held 1:30PM Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Brother Johnny Webb and Brother Ed Slayton officiating. Interment, Leiper's Fork Cemetery.
