Mr. John Jensen

Mr. John R. Jensen, age 73 of Franklin, TN passed away September 29, 2015. He worked with Willis Risk Management for many years prior to becoming Chief Operating Officer with Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey Circus for 12 years. More recently he served as a volunteer tutor to Cool Springs Christian Children Ministry at the Clearview Baptist Church. He loved all animals and traveled the world where he also worked with Lloyd's of London. Most of all he was a devoted husband, caring father of five and friend to many around the world. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert E. & Thelma L. Hetzel Jensen. Survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Carolyn Jensen; son, Shawn (Angie) Jensen; daughters, Shannon Jensen, Kim (Chris) Fickes, Brenda Phelan and Linda Phelan; brother, Jay (Pattie) Jensen; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Services will be held 1:00PM Friday, October 2, 2015 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, John Gardner officiating. Visitation will be held 4-7PM Thursday, October 1, 2015 and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Burial will be at Williamson Memorial Gardens.
