Mr.Joseph Dexter

Mr. Joseph Mark "Jo Jo" Dexter, age 24 of Columbia, TN passed away from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on August 29, 2013. Graduate of Spring Hill High School, he was a talented athlete since the age of 4. He loved playing all sports especially hockey and was ranked one of the best in the area. He was a kind and caring man. He centered his life and love to his special nephew. Survived by: parents, Mark & Susan Dexter of Columbia, TN; sister, Jessica Dexter & special nephew, Rylan Dexter Kirby of Nashville, TN; grandmother, Wanda Hays of Independence, MO; aunts & uncles, Sharon (David) Allin of Independence, MO, Sandy (Bruce) Sewell of Blue Springs, MO, Debbie (Mark) Evinger of Bates City, MO & Rick Hays of Blue Springs, MO and several cousins and loving family members. A Celebration of Life will be conducted 2:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2013 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Keith Sherwood officiating. Memorials may be made to Vanderbilt's Children Hospital.
