Mr. Lemon Williams

WILLIAMS, Mr. Lemon D. "Bill", age 89 of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Franklin, TN died peacefully at home surrounded by family August, 7, 2012. Born December 21, 1922 in Cookeville, TN. Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during WWII. Retired after 39 years from Third National-SunTrust Bank as Vice President. Preceded in death by parents, Ridley Lester & Minnie Ann Ray Williams and sister, Estelle Williams. Survived by amazing wife and caregiver, Barbara Dycus Williams of Murfreesboro, TN who was by his side every step of the way and provided excellent care till the very end; daughters, Dianne Williams of Nolensville, TN and Donna Hogan of Murfreesboro, TN; grandchildren, Josh (Jenni) Hogan and Jena (Jeremy) Nichols; great grandchildren, Caleb & Cody Hogan and Kelcy & Bailey Nichols. Special thanks to Michelle Trebilcock & Betty Schmidt from Odyssey Hospice, and extra special thanks to Scott Carter, Bill's caregiver over the past two years. Funeral services will be conducted 12:00 Noon Friday, August 10, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment, Woodlawn Memorial Park with Military Honors. Active pallbearers: Josh, Caleb & Cody Hogan, Jeremy Nichols, Scott Carter, Collin Baggett, Bob Lee Bilbrey and Charlie Ray. Honorary pallbearers: Joan & Jack Carroll, Jim Lewis, Lindy Lewis, Ralph Fox, Bob & Betty Campbell, Bobby Greene, Jo Wright, Nita Jones, Dean Brown, Gwen Ray, Mark Beasley, Michelle Trebilcock, Betty Schmidt, Polly Wright and Trudy Patterson.
