Mr. Lewis Nelson "Skip" Allen, age 74 died April 6, 2015 at his home in Franklin, TN. Born in Ann Arbor, MI in 1940. A Veteran of the US Navy. Retired as a Plant Manager from GM/Saturn in 2001. Preceded in death by father, Glenn Allen. Survived by wife, Dianne Page Allen; mother, Gladys Schlenker; sister, Janice Hesse; children, Sandy (Al) Cartlidge, John Brett (Sherry) Allen, Ted (Marnie) Johnson, Denise (Andrew) Pike and Leslie (Chris) Anderson; eleven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00PM Friday, April 10, 2015 at the Fourth Avenue Church of Christ with military honors. Visitation will be held 12-2PM Friday at the church.
