Mr. Marshall Lumpkins Bailey, age 88 of Franklin, TN, February 26, 2011. Born in Lawrence County, TN and attended high school in Loretta, TN where he was a member of the Championship Basketball Team. Received a scholarship to Middle TN State University. He became a homebuilder at a young age. As a developer & home builder, he was highly repected in his field of endeavor both for the quality of his work and personal integrity. Rancher & owner of champion Charolais cattle for 10 years. Avid fisherman and boating. Survived by: wife, Juanita Paulene Bailey; sons, Phillip J. (Emily) Bailey & David (Victoria) Bailey; step daughters, Terry (Phillip) Ivey & Susan (Stephen) Hughes; brothers, Dr. Keith D. (Patricia) Bailey & Dr. Eugene (Mary) Bailey; sister, Geneva Dorris; sister-in-law, Joan Bailey; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren & five step grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Brentwood United Methodist Church with visitation one hour prior to service. Entombment in Williamson Memorial Gardens - Remembrance Mausoleum. Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Forum Class of Brentwood United Methodist Church.
