Mr. Raymond Lancaster

LANCASTER, Mr. Raymond Hunter, age 91 of Columbia, TN, February 21, 2011. Worked for many years in Collections at Williamson County Bank. Enjoyed working with his mules and competiting in various mule pullings where he won several contests. Preceded in death by wife of 54 years, Odell Capley Lancaster in March of 1997, parents, James Walter & Bertie Peach Lancaster; brothers, Clyde and Fred Lancaster; half sister, Grady Tyson; half brothers, Doc, Sewell and Maury Lancaster. Survived by: daughter, Debbie (Jim) Proffitt; sons, Ronnie (Janice) Lancaster & Billy Ray "Rat" (Joy) Lancaster; brother, Jimmy and Leonard Lancaster; grandchildren, Stephen (Paula) Peach, Chris Lancaster and Sheena Sullivan; great grandchildren; Julia, Seth, Rebekah and Bristol Peach, Andrea, Erica and Melody Sullivan; step grandchildren, David (Carrie) Proffitt and Tina (Bob) Guldberg; step great grandchildren, Emilee, Cole and Ben Proffitt, Sophia and Michael Guldberg. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, J.O. Martin and Jimmy Davis officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Active pallbearers, Roger Jones, Stephen Peach, Chris, Terry, David, Freddie and Kenny Lancaster and David Proffitt. Honorary pallbearers, Zack Hickman & staff of NHC Hillview.
