Mr. Robert Sorteberg

July 17, 1926 — October 21, 2013

SORTEBERG, Mr. Robert Wayne, age 87 of Franklin, TN. October 21, 2013. Veteran of the US Army Air Corp during WWII. Graduate of the University of Arizona at Tucson. Taught school in the El Monte School District for 31 years. Vocal member of the A.F.T. As a musician he was a member of several early music groups. He was a charter and founding member of the Music City Vikings Sons of Norway. Preceded in death by parents, Alfred H & Clara Ovidea Knutson Sorteberg; sister, Lois May Sorteberg. Survived by wife, Patricia Sorteberg; daughters, Rachel Sorteberg & Sharon (Bruce) Williams; granddaughter, Anna Bikales. Graveside services will be held 1:00PM Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery.
