Mr. Robert Swayze

SWAYZE, Mr. Robert L. age 72 of Spring Hill, TN joined the Lord on December 13, 2011. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Active member of Thompson Station Baptist Church. Chief Board of Directors of Truck Center, Inc. He enjoyed serving the Lord on mission trips to Guatemala and leaves behind his sponsored child, Genesis. Preceded in death by parents, Lowell & Margaret Hale Swayze; brothers, Gene & Bill Swayze. Survived by wife, the love of his life for 53 years, Marvene Huff Swayze; sons, Randy (Leslie) Swayze , Rick (Sheila) Swayze, Ronnie (Jennifer) Swayze & Jeff (Jill) Swayze; daughter, Cindy (Dale) Armour; brother, Charles (Donna) Swayze of Illinois; thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Friday, December 16, 2011 at Thompson Station Baptist Church, Jeff Swayze & Pastor Tom McCoy officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons, Josh, Jacob, Brandon, Chase, Bryan, Cody & Adam Swayze and Blake Armour will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers: Wayne Swayze, Matt Clarke, Joe Doughty, John Smith & Dale Armour. Memorials may be made to the Shalom Foundation, www.theshalomfoundation.org/robertswayze.
