Survived by: sons, Ron (Gail) Townsend, Gladwin, MI, Pastor Gary (Karen) Townsend, Columbia, TN & Robert Townsend, Jr., Southgate, MI; grandchildren, Bill, Steve, Kevin, Melissa & Paul Townsend; six great grandchildren. Graveside services will be conducted 1:00 PM EST Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Eastview Memorial Gardens in Strawberry Plains, TN, Pastor David Simmerman & Pastor Gary Townsend officiating.
