GIES, Mrs. Alice Loretta, age 96 of Franklin, TN formerly of Royal Oak, MI. Member of St. Philip Catholic Church. Preceded in death by husbands, Albert M. Green of 35 years of marriage and Eugene R. Gies of 27 years of marriage and two grandchildren. Survived by: daughters, Jeanette Oldford, Claudia (William) Kirkpatrick & Mary (Clyde) Troutman; brother, George (Ann) Seefeld; seven grandchildren & ten great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Friday, May 27, 2011 with the body lying in state at 11:30 AM at St. Mary's of Royal Oak. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be 5-8 PM Thursday at William Sullivan & Sons Funeral Home, 705 West Eleven Mile Rd., Royal Oak, MI 48067. (248) 541-7000.
