Mr. Samuel Reed

REED, Mr. Samuel P., age 75 of Brentwood, TN died December 26, 2012. Born in Williamson County to the late Polkie & Katherine Smith Reed. A loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to all. A member of Berry's Chapel Church of Christ. He was an avid musician, rabbit hunter, and also enjoyed horse trail riding. Preceded in death by son, Samuel Kevin Reed; brothers, Kirby & Eddie Reed. Survived by wife of 54 years, Edna Lampley Reed of Brentwood, TN; daughters, Janelle Reed (Joey) Giles of Fairview, TN, Mary Reed (Herb) Schoenfeld of Murfreesboro, TN and Sandra Reed (Eddie) Hargrove of Franklin, TN; sister, Annie Reed (Charles) Tomlin; sister in-laws, Dot Reed and Jean Reed both of Franklin, TN; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00PM Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Andy Baker officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Country Way Band past and present members. Memorials may be made to the Samuel Reed Memorial Fund.
