Mrs. Betty Long

LONG, Mrs. Betty, age 82, passed away February 15, 2013 at Grace Healthcare in Franklin, TN. She had worked as a nurse's aide in Peoria, IL and in the school cafeteria at Spring Hill and Best Western at Spring Hill. She was a member of West Franklin Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Nora Baker Sandusky; brother, T.J. Sandusky; and great granddaughter, Makaya Carter. Survived by son, Gary Long; daughters, Debby (Gary) Carter and Phyllis (Jim) Lackey; sister, Brenda Morenc; eight grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted 3PM Sunday, February 17, 2013 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, John Rush officiating. Interment Spring Hill Memorial Park. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Prime Timers Sunday School Class at West Franklin Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to Prime Timers Sunday School Class at West Franklin Baptist Church, 700 New Highway 96 West, Franklin, TN 37064.
