WILLIAMS, Mrs. Christine James (Hillenmeyer), age 64 of Franklin, TN, September 16, 2011. The Best: The Best Teacher, The Best Friend, The Best Wife and Grandmother. She died peacefully after a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. A dedicated and loved second grade teacher at Grassland Elementary School for 22 years. Preceded in death by father, William Lee James and infant son, Todd Jude Hillenmeyer. Survived by husband of 23 years, W. Pat Williams, MD of Franklin, TN; sons, Edwin "Hillie" (Paige) Hillenmeyer, Geoffrey (Kristie) Hillenmeyer & Christopher (Jennifer) Hillenmeyer; mother, Miriam Krebs Amato of Boca Raton, FL; brother, William James of Parker, CO; grandchildren, Chris & Kaitlyn Gilbert, Sydney Wren Hillenmeyer, Reiling , John & Emmerson Hillenmeyer, Haydon & Constance James Hillenmeyer, Libby, Will & Mac Poland, Cliff & Charlie Goidel, Coley & Townes Hunt; step daughters, Kendall Creighton Williams, Anna Laura (Steve) Hunt & Margaret "Molly" (Jeff) Goidel. A special thanks to Dr. Patrick Murphy & Staff and the Staff at the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center. Funeral Mass will be conducted 10:30AM Saturday, September 17, 2011 at St. Philip Catholic Church, Father Bala Celebrant. Inurnment, Magnolia Estate Garden in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandchildren and their fathers will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Ladies of Wednesday Bridge Group. Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude's Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
