Mrs. Debby Barrett Dodge M.D., age 53 of Franklin, TN, July 15, 2010. Graduate of David Lipscomb College and graduate of Indiana University Medical School with high honors and member of the AOA Medical Honor Society. She was the first fellowship trained emergency room doctor in Middle Tennessee . Member of Fourth Avenue Church of Christ where she was involved with the jail ministry. She was a kind spirited, generous and compassionate person in all she did. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend to all. Survived by: husband, Kenneth Dodge, M.D.; son, Phillip Dodge; daughters, Katie (Robert) Lewis & Bonnie Dodge; parents, Donald Sr. & Caroline Farmer Barrett; brothers, Donald "Buddy" Barrett & Danny (Eileen) Barrett; sister, Donna (David) Waters; father in law, Brenton Dodge. Memorial services will be conducted 2:00 PM Sunday, July 18, 2010 at Fourth Avenue Church of Christ, Jim Taylor officiating.
