VANHOOSE, Mrs. Doris Ward, age 84 of Franklin, TN. Passed away December 5, 2009. Born in Tutor Key, KY. Retired corporate bookkeeper with Ashland Finance Co. A long time member of the Republican Women of Williamson County. Preceded in death by husband, Otto VanHoose; parents, Walter and Effie Hayes Ward; brothers, Willard and Walter Ward; sisters, Emma Ward and Louise Phillips; son-in-law, Richard A. Meyers. Survived by daughter, Brenda V. Meyers of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, Andrea (Andrew) Stoffregen of Thompson Station, TN and Amy (Garth) Gobbell of Murfreesboro, NC; great grandchildren, Miranda Stoffregen, Carolyn and Hunter Gobbell; brother, Paul Ward of Ashland, KY; sister, Frances Esenbock of Franklin, TN; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held 2:00pm Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Pastor Rick White officiating. Internment held in Williamson Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Joshua Esenbock, A.G. Phillips, Reggie Churchwell, Jack Jezwinski, Andrew Stoffregen, Don Tucker. Honorary Pallbearer: Garth Gobbell.
