Mrs. Dorothy Hart

HART, Mrs. Dorothy Jean, passed away on June 23, 2011 in Nashville Tennessee. She was born on June 19th, 1932 in Portage, Cambria Pennsylvania. She was married and sealed to Audbirt Raymond Hart on July 18, 1958 in the Logan, Utah temple and resided in Chiefland, Florida with her family until moving to Franklin, Tennessee. Dorothy was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints where she held a number of callings and assignments. She was unwavering in her faith and served as a positive example for all who associated and served with her. Dorothy had a particular passion for music, the arts and a tireless dedication to the family where she spent her life raising four children and spent innumerable days caring and loving for both grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and friend to all who knew her. A true ray of sunshine to those who knew her, she generously shared her talents and loving personality throughout her life. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Audbirt. She is survived by her son Phillip Hart, Daughters Jennifer, Lisa, Linda Hart and Brother Raymond Patterson. She is also survived by grandchildren Aaron Hart, Sarah Schneider, Alex, Blake and Desiree Scott as well as five great grandchildren Benjamin and Ammon Schneider, Roxann, Donovan and Jordyn Hart. In addition she leaves the many friends and extended family that she touched throughout her life. While she is undoubtedly in a better place, she will be greatly missed by all. Services will be held 10:00am Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Bishop McBee to officiate. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. Burial in Williamson Memorial Gardens.
