LAYNE, Mrs. Dorothy Sue Lofton, age 83 of Murfreesboro, TN formerly of Williamson County, TN. Retired nurse for many years at the former Lofton Nursing Home. Preceded in death by husband, James Thomas Layne and son, Anthony Brent Layne. Survived by: daughter in law, Peggy Layne; grandchildren, Thomas Brent Layne, Katie Sue (Toby) Leonard & Christopher Patrick Layne; great grandchildren, Katherine Alexa Layne, Sean & Landon Booth & Brennen Leonard; brother, James Lofton (June) Layne; sister, Jean (Franklin) Williams. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 27, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Joe Woodside and Franklin Williams officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Men of the Bridge Avenue Church of Christ. Memorials may be made to the American Lung Association.
