MARLIN, Mrs. Dorothy Rainey, age 91 of Brentwood, TN formerly of Williamson Co. TN, June 13, 2013. Member of Fourth Ave. Church of Christ and then attended Woodson Chapel Church of Christ in Nashville. Preceded in death by parents, John W. & Minnie Sullivan Rainey, the love of her life her husband, J.C. Marlin, Jr. & daughter, Sondra Walden. Survived by: Dianna (Larry) Drolsum; brother, Paul B. (Mary) Rainey; sisters, Julia (Jim) Hamlett & Pearlene (Chester) Pendergrass; seven grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 PM Saturday, June 15, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor & John Miller officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family & friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
