CARNEY, Mrs. Edna Pauline "Granny", age 98 of Franklin, TN, formerly of Pegram, TN, May 24, 2011. Preceded in death by husband, Woodford Carney; parents, Clarence & Mary Ryan Baggett; daughter, Dorothy Russell; son, James Carney; granddaughters, Sandra Russell Pugh & Gail Hinkle; great grandson, Robert Joslin, III. Survived by daughters, Jo Evelyn (Tommy) Cotton of Arrington, TN & Dorris (Doug) Hickman of the Bethesda Comm.; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted 3:00PM Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the Activities Dept. at Claiborne Hughes, 200 Strahl St. Franklin, TN 37064.
