WHITLEY, Mrs. Effie Elizabeth Hooten, age 97 of Franklin, TN, July 13, 2013. Lifelong member of West Main Church of Christ and member of the Hillsboro Homemakers Club. Longtime employee of Gray Drug Store. Preceded in death by parents, Church & Essie Cotton Hooten; husband, Ellis Whitley; sister, Alice Mae Brenneman; nephew, Dennis Brenneman. Survived by dearest of friends & caregivers, Sherri & James Wise; friends, Joey & Lena Davis and the entire Davis family. Funeral services will be conducted 10:00AM Monday, July 15, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Dan Tholen officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
