Mrs. Elizabeth Parrish

PARRISH, Mrs. Elizabeth "Betty", age 73 of Brentwood, TN passed away April 21, 2011 after a courageous three year battle with liver cancer. Long time employee of the Direct Oil Corporation in Brentwood; Member of the Church of the Advent Episcopal for over 40 years; Volunteer at St. Luke's This and That Shop; Member of the American Legion Auxiliary Brentwood Post 156, the Republican Women of Williamson County and the Martin Center in Brentwood. Preceded in death by husband of 42 years, Bill Parrish and brother, Haig DerManoogian. Survived by sons, Alan Parrish of San Jose, CA & Steve (Lisa) Parrish of Franklin, TN; daughter, Sherrie (Scott) Meyers of Hendersonville, TN; sisters, Margaret Mooradian of Danvers, MA & Anne Derr of Newburyport, MA; grandchildren, Jake Meyers & Cassetty Parrish; special friend & caregiver, Sears Harris. Celebration of Life will be held 10:30AM Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Church of the Advent Episcopal, Rev. Tom Hotchkiss officiating.
