Mrs. Elizabeth Shepard

SHEPARD, Mrs. Elizabeth "Libby", age 84 of Franklin, TN, September 16, 2013. Member of Forest Hills Baptist Church and the Ruth Class. Her career began working for the Assistant Deputy of Defense at the Pentagon. After raising her children she went to work for the Tennessee Baptist Convention where she retired after 18 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, James Fletcher & Anne Maria Clark Collins; husband of 45 years, David Gilman Shepard; sister, Sue Collins; brothers, Jimbo Collins & Frank Collins. Survived by daughters, Catherine (Frank) Mason, Donna (Walter) Bellisle, Jennifer (Larry) Hayes & step-daughter, Diane (Richard) Marino; brother, Gilson (Sandra) Collins, brother in-law, Harold Shepard; sister in-laws, Nancy & Hilda Collins; grandchildren, Laura Bellisle (Matt) Rainey, David (Sarah) Pursley, Andrew Bellisle & Briana Pursley; great grandchild, Carson Rainey; eight step-grandchildren; ten step-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00PM Saturday, September 21, 2013 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Vern Powers & Pastor Sam Boyd officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens.
