Mrs. Ellie Beasley

BEASLEY, Mrs. Ellie Marshall McCord, age 96 of the Bethesda Community, November 16, 2009. Veteran of the U.S. Navy during World War II. She was the oldest known veteran in Williamson County at the time of her death. Retired secretary for Bethesda School after 33 ½ years of service. Preceded in death by husband John William Beasley. Survived by: daughters, Annette (Lee) McRee & Betsy (David) Norris both of Bethesda Community; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Williamson Memorial Funeral home, Rev. Tom Pierce, officiating. Interment Williamson Memorial Gardens. Grandsons and great nephews will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Memorials may be made to the Bethesda United Methodist Church. Visitation will be 3-8PM Tuesday and two hours prior to the service at WILLIAMSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 615 794-2289.
