Mrs. Elynor Shaw Bellenfant, age 86, of College Grove, TN passed away June 20, 2014. A graduate of Forrest High School and Nashville Business College. Member of Beta Sigma Phi, College Grove United Methodist Church, local Community Service Volunteer, avid Bridge player, co-founder of the College Grove Dairy Show, and world traveler and founder of the Tennessee Globe Trotters Travel Group.
Preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Joe C. Bellenfant; and parents, James and Lucy Shaw. Survived by daughters, Sherry Bellenfant of Franklin, TN, Emy Joe (Keith) Bellenfant-Bilbrey, DeLacy Bellenfant both of College Grove, TN; sisters, Jimmye Lou Smith of Tullahoma, TN, Nell Wilson of College Grove, TN; grandchildren, Phoebe Fly (Donald) Smith, Stephanie Bellis (Charlie) Warner, Richard LayhewIII; great grandchildren, Erich & Drew Smith, McKinley, Meredith & Madden Warner.
Visitation 4-8PM Sunday at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted 2PM Monday, June 23, 2014 at College Grove United Methodist Church, with visitation 2 hours prior at the church. Todd Kelly, officiating.
