Mrs. Evelyn Hendricks

HENDRICKS, Mrs. Evelyn Inez Grigg, age 76 of Franklin, TN, September 28, 2011. Retired from Clinton High School and the Oklahoma Highway Patrol with over thirty years service. Born in Washita County, Oklahoma to the late Ellis Howard and Doris Emily Garton Grigg. She was raised in Sentinel, OK and spent much of her life in Clinton before moving to Santa Fe, NM and later to Franklin, TN. Preceded in death by her husband of 29 years, Howard Lee Hendricks. Survived by: sons, Scott (Teri) Hendricks & Mark (Laura Beth) Hendricks; grandchildren, Keely, Shaye & Ellis Hendricks and a granddaughter due in November; brother, Leon (Janet) Grigg; sister, Helen (Roy) Snow; brother in law, Lloyd Hendricks and Inez's companion, Eddie Jarvis. Special Thanks from the family to her caregivers: Evelyn Perkins, Eloise Waymon, Cathy Waymon, Tammie Hammond, Evil Leach, Mary Leach, Mary Osborne & Betty Swaw. Celebration of Life services will be conducted 12:00 Noon, Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor officiating. Visitation will be thirty minutes prior to the service. Graveside inurnment will be held at a later date in Clinton, OK. In lieu of flowers the family asks you make a donation to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid South Chapter, 214 Overlook Cr. Suite 153, Brentwood, TN 37027.
