HOOD, Mrs. Frances Josephine Jefferson, age 88 of Franklin, TN. November 16, 1921 - August 18, 2010. Member of New Hope Presbyterian Church. Preceded in death by parents, Henry Brown & Alein Elliott Jefferson; husband, Howard Hood, Jr.; four sisters & six brothers. Survived by sons, Howard "Sluggo" Hood III & David (Cindy) Hood; daughter, Debbie (Mike) Hobgood; grandchildren, Shannon (Tim) Pope, Shelly Hood, Sherrie (Chris) Totty, Dr. Weston (Mary Beth) Hobgood, Travis Hobgood, Joey & Laura Hood; sister, Marjorie (Bob) Fugate. Funeral service will be conducted 1:00PM Saturday, August 21, 2010 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Jim Taylor & Harvey Sullins officiating. Interment, Williamson Memorial Gardens. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Special thanks to the staff of NHC Place at Cool Springs & Dr. Jim McGinley. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital, St. Judes Children's Hospital or the Disabled Veterans.
