HOCKENSMITH, Mrs. Gladys Pearl, age 76 of Franklin, TN. On June 19th, 2011 All Mighty God, in all His Glory, called Gladys Green Hockensmith to join her beloved husband Calvin Gaines "Buzzy" Hockensmith, Jr. in their glorious mansion for eternity in that beautiful city of gold. She is survived by her daughters Tracy (and fiancée Tim Martin) and Terri Hockensmith of Franklin, TN; sister-in-law, Emily Mathews Williams of Phoenix, AZ; brother-in-law, Thomas "Buddy" Stodghill of Shelbyville, KY; nieces and nephews include: Elizabeth (Edward) Lynch of Scottsdale, AZ; Walton (Jeannie) Stodghill of Shelbyville, KY; Lou Ann (Wes) Tompkins of Shelbyville, KY; Nancy (Ben) Vaughn of Savannah, GA; David Stodghill of Shelbyville, KY; Becky Turner of Shelbyville, KY; Jeannie Lynch of Chicago, IL; Peter Lynch of New York City, NY; and grand-nieces Layne Turner and Isabella, Olivia and Anna Lackner; and beloved Poodle, Andy. Gladys was a member of Oak Valley Baptist Church and a 55 year member of of Franklin, Chapter #449, Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Martha for the last 19 years. Funeral Services will be conducted 7:00pm Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Ken Parker officiating. Graveside service will be held 1:00pm Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Masonic Cemetery in Stamping Ground, KY. Memorials may be made to the Oak Valley Baptist Church or Franklin Chapter 449 Order of Eastern Star Benevolence Fund.
