BUCHANAN, Mrs. Glenda Sue, age 71 of College Grove, TN, April 21, 2010. Retired from Bellsouth Legal Dept. AT&T Pioneer Life Member Representative for Middle Tennessee. Co-Chair for the Nashville Pioneer Hug A Bear Team that hand makes Bears for children in various organizations. She was a devoted community activist. Member of Franklin First United Methodist Church. Survived by: husband of 50 years, Gary Richard Buchanan; daughter, Lisa Buchanan Baskin; son in-law, Roger S. Baskin; son, Gary Ray Buchanan; grandchildren, Austin Reed & Trevor Scott Baskin; beloved pet, Simba. Memorial service will be conducted 11:00 AM Friday, April 30, 2010 at Franklin First United Methodist Church, Rev. Vona Wilson officiating with visitation one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials may be made to Nashville Children's Alliance, 1264 Foster Ave., Nashville, TN 37210.
