Mrs. Hazel Groom

GROOM, Mrs. Hazel Hill, age 89 of Arrington, TN, May 1, 2012. Hazel was a member of the People's Church of Franklin, TN. Preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years, Otis Groom; parents, Howard Homer and Lillie Anglin Hill; sister, Hester Hill Gardner and brother, Hubert Marion Hill. She is survived by her daughters, Betty Groom Dukes, Clenna Groom Pokrant, and Janelle Groom Wright; sisters, Helen Hill Powers and Huberta Hill Perkins; brother, Homer Roger Hill; sister in-laws, Maye Tomlin Hill and Lillian Crafton Hill; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A private interment ceremony will be held at Williamson Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Arrington Volunteer Fire Department, 4792 Murfreesboro Road, Arrington, TN 37014 an organization Hazel cared about and supported.
