Mrs. Helen Ryan

Helen Louise Ryan, age 71, of Columbia, TN formerly of Williamson County, TN, passed away Friday, May 13, 2011 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. "Miss" Helen was a well known local artist, and a member of the Maury County Arts Guild. Preceded in death by her parents Troy & Ireta Cowart Salsman. Survived by her husband, Lewis Ryan of Columbia, TN; son, Kenny (Sharon) Ryan of Columbia, TN; sister, Rita (Whalen) Wood of Russellville, AR; grandchildren, Samuel (Melissa) Ryan, David, Matthew, & Abigail Ryan and great grandchild, Malachi Ryan. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, May 16, 2011 at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home, with Jim Taylor officiating. Burial will be in Williamson Memorial Gardens, Franklin, TN. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
