PEWITT, Mrs. Ila Muriel, age 94 of Franklin, TN passed away October 30, 2010. Preceded in death by parents Oscar Henson and Minnie Izora Fox Warf; husband, Benjamin Franklin Pewitt; daughters, Edna Louise Pewitt and Janice Faye Berry; son, Benjamin Edward Pewitt; brother, Oscar A. Warf Jr.; sisters, Ollie Mae Warf Poteete, Eunice Warf Barnes, Jessie Warf Davis and Myrtle Ruth Warf Henry. Survived by daughter, Jeanne (Philip) Vallandingham of Barboursville, WV; sons, Jerry Franklin (Sally) Pewitt of West Chester, OH and Jack (Sherry) Pewitt of White Pine, TN; brothers, Wendall Warf of Eagleville, TN, James Warf of Hinton, WV, Alvin Warf of Anaheim, CA and Billy Warf of Haleyville, AL; sisters, Cora Epps of Nolensville, TN and Betty Jean Phipps of La Vergne, TN; grandchildren, Andrew, Stephanie, Sam, Kim, Greg, Cindy, Leslie, Benjamin and Rebekah and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00AM Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at Franklin Community of Faith Church, 506 Jordan Rd., Franklin, TN. Ronnie Johnson officiating. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorials can be made to Franklin Community of Faith Church.
