Mrs. Jo Satterfield

SATTERFIELD, Mrs. Jo Ann, age 77 of Franklin, TN, February 21, 2012. JoAnn was a military wife of Arlie, a career Air Force NCO who was succumbed to pancreatic cancer many years ago, and homemaker who occasionally worked outside the home at various service type businesses. Her most enjoyable experience was working in Franklin at Video Show Time. She intensely enjoyed public contact and made friends very easily. People really enjoyed her company and just chatting with her. There were always pets in the home but she was very partial to the dogs that contributed to her happiness. To her, the pets were part of the family and she loved them as she did her two legged family members. She was very proud of how her children had grown and achieved their personal goals and of course her grandchildren and great grand children. All will dearly miss her. Preceded in death by husband, Arlie Lester Satterfield, Jr.; daughter, Meltonia Kay Price; grandson, CW3 Shan J. Satterfield. Survived by sons, Gary G. (Cynthia) Satterfield of Wasilla, AK & Leslie J. Satterfield of Franklin, TN; daughter, Eve C. (John) Schroeder of Leipers Fork Community; brother, Auda Binkley Beasley, Jr. of Nashville, TN; sisters, Lena Mary "Jean" Bunn of Gillispie, IL, Nancy Patricia Pierce-Pursell & Linda Earle Lemmonds both of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Scott A. Satterfield, Derrick Ryan & Jason Lee Price, Sasha A. & John Carl Schroeder. Funeral Services will be conducted 11:00AM Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Rev. Robert W. Cowperthwaite officiating. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery. Family & Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to any charity for military widows or ovarian cancer research.
