Mrs. Joann Hill

HILL, Mrs. Joann Deering, age 74 of Franklin, TN, formerly of Scottsville, KY died September 16, 2011. She was an active member of Brentwood Baptist Church. She was a Metro School Teacher for over 20 years. She was an avid member of the YMCA, a world traveler and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was the daughter of the late Gilbert Ray & Idell Follis Deering. She is survived by her husband, David Hill of Franklin, TN; sons, David (Melanie) Hill of Franklin, TN and Stephen (Bridget) Hill of Panama City Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Madeleine, Emery, Lauren and Mason Hill. Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00PM Monday, September 19, 2011 at Brentwood Baptist Church, Baskin Chapel with Dr. Michael Glenn officiating. Visitation will be 12 Noon - 2PM at the church. Entombment will follow in the Remembrance Mausoleum at Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
