Mrs. Katherine Bennett

Mrs. Katherine Harmon Whitley Bennett, age 65 of Albemarle, NC, passed away Friday, August 24, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends at Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle, NC on Tuesday, August 28, from 6-8 PM.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at First Baptist Church, Ambemarle, with Rev. Harold McDonald officiating.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Friday, August 31, 2012 at Hargrove Family Cemetery, Kedron Road, Spring Hill, TN with Darrell Trimble officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Keith Bradley, Dustin Harmon, Bailey Davenport, Bradley Johnson, Steve Baker and Dwain Bradley.
Visitation with the family will be 4-8 PM Thursday, at Spring Hill Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bennett was born in Maury County, TN, to the late Charles Emery Harmon and the late Ora Estella Hargrove Harmon. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Carroll "Jack" Whitley in 2005.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Leon Bennett of Albemarle, NC; brother, Edward (Barbara) Harmon of Spring Hill, TN; sisters, Glenna (Dwain) Bradley and Alpha Dean "Alphie" (Steve) Baker both of Spring Hill, TN, and several nieces and nephews.
