Mrs. Katherine White

WHITE, Mrs. Katherine J., age 91, of Nashville, TN, passed away at St. Thomas Hospital on Monday, Feb. 21, 2011 following a long illness. She was born June 4, 1919 in Goodlettsville, Davidson County, to the late Joseph Edmund and Mamie Gladys Jones. She was married to her late husband, Eli G. White, Sr. She was a founding member of Blue Grass Country Club and a longtime member of Richland Country Club and Binghamton Country Club in New York. Katherine is survived by her sons and their wives; William T. and Gina White, Eli G. Jr. and Linda White of Tampa, FL., C. Joel and Mala White, Franklin, TN, and daughter, Carol White Durham of Kansas City. Grandchildren: William T. (Robin) White, Debbie (Michael) Spyropoulos of New York, Eli G. White III of Tampa, FL, Michael D. (Heather) White of Tampa, FL, Shawn Zagorsky of Denver, CO, Trent A. (Layla) Zagorsky of Kansas City, Joel Jr., Jennifer and Julie White of Franklin, TN. Great Grandchildren: Eliza, Michael, Ryan and Zoey. She is also survived by her sisters, Rebecca Coker, Doris Whittaker and Helen Reed and many nieces and nephews and extended family members. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Joseph Edmund Jones Jr. and her sisters, Marie Binkley, Majorie Managbana and Ruth Stansbury. Graveside Services will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, March 3, 2011 at 11:00 A.M.
