Mrs. Katie Polk

POLK, Mrs. Katie Flaugher, age 41, Franklin, TN, passed away November 12, 2011. She was a member of Heritage Church of Christ and Alpha Omicron Pi Sorority, graduate of David Lipscomb High School Class of 1988, member of 1986 State High School Basketball Team and graduate of Western Kentucky. Survived by husband, Chris Polk; son, Clayton Polk; daughter, MaryKate Polk; parents, John T. "Pete" and Paula Flaugher; brother John (Jennifer) Flaugher; sister, Mary (Mark) Gillenwater; and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 1PM Wednesday, November 16 at Heritage Church of Christ, Steve Blackman and Paul Forshey officiating. Burial Williamson Memorial Gardens. Family and friends will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Employees of Aladdin Industries and Century Construction, Franklin Fire Department, Nashville Fire Department, Williamson County Rescue Squad and Southern Cruiser's Riding Club.
